Beautiful Fabrics W.A. was born out the lack of suitable designer fabrics in Western Australia for local designers wanting to emulate the colours and variety of fabrics available overseas. Belinda Sutton the owner and founder of the company was unable to satisfy the needs of her clients when she designed their couture outfits and was continually forced to fly in fabrics from outside of Western Australia.

This frustration led her to do something about it, but first she wanted the perfect location for a showroom that had style, freshness, was close to public transport and could easily service all areas of Perth. The showroom which is situated in Innaloo, right next to the new Ikea superstore achieved all outcomes and most importantly for those who live south of the river this location provides easy access via the freeway or the Trans Perth rail system.

There is an enviable range of fabrics available for wedding dresses, bridesmaid’s dresses, prom wear, evening wear and day wear. The majority of the silk fabrics are from Italy and are complemented with matching laces to add that sense of elegance to any outfit. To round off the experience there is a range of designer patterns from Vogue and Simplicity, along with a selection of haberdashery items.

The showroom is open 6 days a week and is well suited to those that like to make their own garments or supply the fabric to a dress maker, through to fashion designers wanting purchase quality fabrics locally with that touch of elegance.

We also provide a 1hr inexpensive design service to assist you in combining your many ideas into one final design. We will help you choose your desired fabrics and wil be able to recommend a suitable dressmaker to help. When you purchase the material from us to match the design, we will refund the design service charge.
